Tee Zen Designs, LLC (“Tee Zen Designs”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at tee-zen.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect your personal information when you visit the Site or place an order.
By using the Site, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2.1 Information You Provide
We may collect personally identifiable information from you in a variety of ways, including when you visit the Site, place an order, register an account, enter a sweepstakes or contest, or contact us. This information may include:
- First and last name
- Mailing and shipping address
- Email address
- Phone number
We will collect personal information from you only if you voluntarily provide it. You may visit the Site without providing personal information, though certain features and services require it.
If you purchase products from us, we collect billing and payment information necessary to complete the transaction. We do NOT store billing or credit card information beyond the completion of the transaction — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected when you use the Site. This information may include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the Site, to maintain quality of service, and to provide general statistics regarding Site usage.

2.3 Information from Third Parties
Payment data from Stripe: transaction status, order identifiers, and billing postal code. We do not receive or store full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details.
3. How We Use Your Information
Tee Zen Designs collects and uses your personal information to:
- Process and fulfill your orders
- Operate and maintain the Site and deliver services you have requested
- Send transactional communications (order confirmation, shipping notification, delivery updates)
- Send SMS shipping notifications if you have opted in
- Create and manage your account if you register
- Respond to support and contact form inquiries
- Inform you of other products or services available from Tee Zen Designs
- Send marketing and promotional communications if you have subscribed
- Improve the Site based on usage patterns

Tee Zen Designs may disclose your personal information without notice if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the requirements of applicable law or comply with legal process; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Tee Zen Designs; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public.
5. Tracking User Behavior
Tee Zen Designs may keep track of the pages and features our users engage with on the Site in order to determine what services are most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and to improve the Site experience.
6. External Data Storage
We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
7. Cookies
The Site may use “cookies” to help personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer, and are uniquely assigned to you.
Cookies help the Site recall your specific information on subsequent visits, simplifying the retrieval of your previously provided information such as billing addresses and shipping addresses.

8. Communications
8.1 Transactional Communications
When you place an order, you consent to receive transactional communications related to that order at the email address provided. These communications are necessary to fulfill your order.
8.2 SMS Notifications
If you provide a phone number and opt in at checkout, you consent to receive a text message when your order ships. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Your phone number will not be used for marketing communications and will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes.
8.3 Marketing Email
From time to time, Tee Zen Designs may contact you via email for announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and other general communications. We may receive a notification when you open an email from us or click on a link therein.
If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email, you may opt out by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing support@tee-zen.com. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not affect transactional order communications.
9. Requesting Data Deletion
Personal information may be removed upon request. Email your request to support@tee-zen.com from the email address linked to your account.
Upon a deletion request, we will process the following within 48 hours:
- Your account profile is permanently deleted (email address, display name, saved addresses, communication preferences)
- Your phone number is removed from all records
- Your name and email address are removed from your order records, which are replaced with “Former Customer”
- Shipping addresses on orders less than 18 months old are retained temporarily for chargeback dispute purposes (see Section 10 below); shipping addresses on orders older than 18 months are removed immediately
Deletion of account profile data is permanent and irreversible. You will lose access to order history, saved addresses, and any account-linked records.
In the event you no longer have access to the email address linked to your account, we may request additional verification before processing the removal.
10. Data Retention
Tee Zen Designs uses a tiered retention model that balances tax compliance, chargeback dispute obligations, and your privacy rights.
Account profile data (name, email, phone, saved addresses) is retained while your account is active and deleted within 48 hours of a deletion request.
Order records are retained for seven (7) years as required for tax compliance, but are anonymized on the following schedule:

The Stripe charge ID is retained on all order records for the full 7-year period. This allows transaction verification for tax or audit purposes without retaining personally identifiable customer information beyond the periods above.
SMS opt-in consent records are retained for four (4) years to document consent as required by applicable regulations, independently of account deletion.
Support communications are retained for two (2) years.
Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. A suppression record may be retained indefinitely to prevent accidental re-subscription.
11. Your Rights
11.1 Access and Correction
You may access and update the personal information in your account at any time through your account settings. To request information we hold about you that is not accessible through your account, contact support@tee-zen.com.
11.2 Communication Preferences
You may manage your email and SMS preferences through your account settings or by using the opt-out mechanisms provided in any communication.
11.3 GDPR Rights (European Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@tee-zen.com.
11.4 CCPA Rights (California Users)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. To exercise your rights, contact support@tee-zen.com.
12. Security of Your Personal Information
Tee Zen Designs secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure using SSL protocol encryption for transmission of sensitive data including payment information.
We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. However, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet that are beyond our control; and (b) the security, integrity, and privacy of any information exchanged between you and us through this Site cannot be guaranteed.
13. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected customers within seventy-two (72) hours of confirmed breach discovery via the email address associated with your account or order, and will notify relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
14. Children's Privacy
Tee Zen Designs does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use the Site. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

16. Changes to This Policy
Tee Zen Designs reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time.
